Why we removed the clear outer band/safety seal on our products.

In January 2020 we began omitting the clear outer band around our bottle caps in an effort to reduce excess packaging material. Our product integrity and safety are still maintained by the foil seal that's tightly affixed to the mouth of the container under the cap. This seal must be torn or broken to open the container and remove the product, and cannot be removed and reapplied without leaving visible evidence of entry/tampering. Therefore, the outer band was duplicative and deemed an excessive use of plastic packaging material.
