Why did you discontinue X product?Updated a month ago

MegaFood may discontinue products for several reasons. The most common are:

Ingredient Sourcing Challenges: Since we test our food ingredients and finished product for over 150 herbicides and pesticides, common allergens like gluten, dairy, and soy, and even glyphosate residue and heavy metals, it can be a challenge to obtain consistent, reliable sources that meet MegaFood's high-quality, purity standards. When production is jeopardized because we can't source enough of an ingredient to meet our standards, we may opt to revise the formula or discontinue a product altogether.

Low Consumer Demand: Sometimes we just don't sell enough of one product for it to be a viable business for retailers and MegaFood.

Sustainable Production: We work hard to minimize waste, and thus our environmental footprint at every turn. Part of this involves producing only what we can sell, and ensuring we don't waste resources. When a product of ours is less popular, it becomes a challenge to produce it in a sustainable and profitable way.
