Whole Food/Food-Sourced VitaminsUpdated 2 months ago
Q: Are all of your ingredients sourced from food?
A:
Thanks so much for reaching out.
This is a common misconception, so we’re glad you asked. While we pair nutrients with real food and use fermentation, the vitamins and minerals themselves have never been food-sourced. They have always been science-backed, safety-researched isolated nutrient forms.
The food blends listed on the Supplement Facts Panel reflect our vitamin and food pairing process — specific foods are intentionally paired with specific vitamins (for example, broccoli with folate and cabbage with vitamin K). Our minerals are handled separately and are fermented with beneficial yeast.
What may look different now is our labeling. We list nutrients by their standardized scientific names for greater clarity and transparency, not because the formulas have changed.
We’re always happy to help explain further if questions come up.
