Q:  Aren't the high levels of Vitamin A in the Baby & Me 2 potentially toxic to the fetus? 

A. The vitamin A in the Baby & Me 2 supplement is in the form of beta carotenoid. Your body will convert these carotenoids to vitamin A as needed by the body. This is a very safe form of vitamin A and does not run the risk of toxicity associated with preformed vitamin A. Fetal toxicity is associated with women ingesting therapeutic doses (35 to 105 mg/day) of retinol or retinal esters during the first trimester of pregnancy; carotenoids are not known to be toxic.
