MegaFood uses a unique fermentation process that results in a fermented mineral bisglycinate (an elemental mineral bound with two glycine molecules, which has then undergone fermentation with S. cerevisiae. With that being said, all nutritional mineral elements originate either from soil (i.e. mined from earth's crust) or from sea water (i.e. sodium and chlorine). They are then extracted, purified and reacted with suitable salt forms for use in the manufacture of dietary supplements.
