How are the powders and chews sweetened? How much sugar do they contain per serving? 

The Magnesium Powders are sweetened with monk fruit extract and contain 3 grams of carbohydrates per serving. The chews are sweetened with organic rice syrup and organic cane sugar, and contain 3 grams of sugar per serving.

Do the chews contain FoodState Magnesium? 

Due to stability challenges and the delicate matrix of the chew form/texture we were not able to deliver this mineral in a FoodState form, opting instead for a blend of magnesium forms. 

Why a blend of magnesium forms? 

Citrate and malate, along with a blend of citrate, malate, and glycinate, are considered highly absorbable magnesium combinations.

Why are you using pouches instead of jars?

The Soft Chews are a confectionary, and require additional stability to ensure a prolonged shelf-life and high quality chew. Additionally, glass is a safety concern with confectionery supplements

Why are the chews not Non-GMO Project Verified?

Magnesium malate and Magnesium citrate could not meet the evaluation requirements of the Non GMO Project. All other ingredients were compliant.

What is the function of Maltodextrin in the Relax + Calm* Powders?

Maltodextrin aids the flow of the powders and prevents caking and clumping. The maltodextrin used is Non-GMO Project Verified. 

Why are these formulas not 3rd party certified vegan by Vegan Action? 

We were unable to meet the Vegan Action evaluation requirements. However, this product contains no ingredients derived from animals and is suitable for those who follow a vegan diet.

Having a hard time mixing?

If you are having trouble mixing the magnesium powder, we suggest using warm water to dissolve and using a blender bottle or mixing in a water bottle.
