Question : What kind of oranges are used in making MegaFood products? I am currently taking a medication that does not allow taking anything with Seville Oranges in it.

A: Seville oranges are *Citrus aurantium* (aka bitter oranges) and we do not use these in MegaFood products because of their potential to deliver significant levels of synephrine, an epinephrine-like compound that can increase heart rate and blood pressure. We use navel and valencia oranges in the manufacture of MegaFood products.
