Issues with Green Caps (may impact various products)Updated 21 days ago

Thank you for letting us know about your concern regarding green shavings on the exterior neck of your product.

At MegaFood, your trust and safety are our top priorities. We take every concern seriously and conduct a thorough review to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards.

Several products, such as Magnewsium 300 utilizes a Green CT (Continuous thread) smooth wall polypropylene cap, paired with an amber glass bottle. During the capping process, as the threads of the cap engage with the threads on the neck of the bottle, friction between the two components can sometimes cause the plastic to scathe, which can produce fine pieces of plastic. These pieces are isolated to the exterior of the bottle and do not come in contact with the capsules. As a measure of protection, every product we sell has an inner seal (or liner) that adheres to the bottle landing to ensure the product stays free from contaminants. This liner would not allow for any extraneous particles to come in contact with the product, which meets food and safety regulations for Dietary Supplement manufacturing, and ultimately ensures the product is safe for consumption and free of quality defects.

MegaFood follows strict Good Manufacturing Practices, is audited annually by accredited third-party agencies, and maintains robust inspection, sanitizing, and equipment maintenance processes.
