MegaFood has developed strict specifications for each of the extracts we use in producing our products. For instance, when we are seeking an organic extract, the use of extraction solvents is limited to water and organic ethanol. 

Additionally, the vast majority of organic solvents are volatile and are removed during production steps. In all cases where a solvent other than water is used, residual solvents are analyzed to confirm the quality is acceptable.
