Q: Are your products safe to take when needing to pass a doping test? 

A: MegaFood products have not undergone certification for sports testing, so we have no data with which to definitively respond to this question. Our products contain a number of botanicals, each of which has its own unique family of compounds. Though the botanicals used in our products are typically not considered to be performance enhancing drugs, they are likely to contain a class of compounds called phytosterols, which are chemically similar enough to steroids that they may be flagged in subsequent testing. For this reason our recommendation is have the products tested by the standard doping tests to ensure team members are not risking their careers.
