Do your plastic containers (gummies) leach chemicals?Updated 2 months ago
We wanted to check on this, and so we asked our Science Team: This concern was originally prompted by studies that found BPA leached from baby bottles made of polycarbonate. As noted, the plastic bottle MegaFood uses for its gummy products is PET - a plastic that is free of Bisphenol A, phthalates and other similar compounds with endocrine-disrupting activity. PET plastics have been designated by FDA as safe for use with foods and liquids. PET bottles do not leach harmful chemicals unless heated.
