Q: If someone has allergies to wool, can they take our vitamins that contain D3 derived from lanolin?
A: The transfer of wool allergens to our D3 product has a very low probability of occurrence: it is highly unlikely wool allergens would be present in sufficient quantity to initiate an allergic response. To the best of our knowledge, a bad reaction is unlikely, however, we cannot make any guarantees, however, and we recommend you contact your health care provider prior to taking any new supplements or medication.
******Additional Information for internal use only**********
The transfer of wool allergens to D3 purified material has a very low
probability of occurrence: proteins are water soluble as a general rule
whereas the Vitamin D3 we use is a highly purified oil. Since oil and water
do not mix, it is highly unlikely wool allergens would be present in
sufficient quantity to initiate an allergic response
